In this week’s spotlight, we take a little closer look at a Denon & Doyle DJ whose personality is only outshined by one thing – his talent. Tyrone Spencer came to us as a shy, quiet loner with bad posture and no sense of style. We take credit for the bubbly, charismatic and stylish person that you see today. OK, he was all of that before coming to D&D, but we’re sure proud to call him one of our own.

As one of most requested DJs in the company, Tyrone has also made his mark as a photographer, and has been instrumental in developing some of the Photo Entertainment aspects of our company. His motto, “nothin’ but smiles,” not only applies the subjects in his photos, but to himself, as well. It’s rare to find someone who has a smile/laugh this infectious and who truly loves the work he does.

Known for always pushing the envelope and for finding the newest and coolest headgear to wear while he’s in the mix, Tyrone has adopted an alter-ego when on an event. “Super T started years ago when someone said I ‘saved’ a party that should have been a dud, and it continues now when I change out of my setup clothes and into my suit,” he explains. “For me, it’s about making the event amazing, and not just settle for good, and that’s where Super T comes in.”
