With the ringing in of the New Year, we thought it was the opportune time to give a “behind the scenes” tour to our friends and clients, and explain how hard we work to make each year even better than the last. We think it’s important to share how dedicated we are to NEVER being complacent and always striving to be better!
We host several workshops, meetings, and mentoring events throughout the year here at Denon & Doyle. From our yearly MC meeting where we set our goals for the year, to our large staff workshop which is very active in role playing. We refine what and how we engage guests at various points of the party and critique our individual and team performances. We also host many private, individual mentoring meetings to brainstorm new ideas, activities and continued growth as entertainers. These meetings can consist of reviewing film, talking over what to do in certain situations, working through a new idea, and/or receiving constructive criticism or accolades.
For our Bar/Bat Mitzvah division, our largest and most exciting event is our Annual Entertainers Competition. Teams compete in three categories, “Best New Game”, “Best New Dance” and “Best Schtick”. We also award our MC, DJ and Dancer of the Year as well as “Best Overall Performance”. Teams meet, practice and refine for months. We typically have over 100 people attend the competition, all whom are expected to participate in the fun! The camaraderie is our favorite part, however the competitive team spirit along with the creativity is simply AMAZING. You’re invited to attend, mark your calendar for August – the date will be set soon!
Finally, to sum it up – we want to thank you for your continued support. To those of you who are thinking about having us as a part of your Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Private Party, or other event – we would love to be there and want you to know how hard we work to make your special day one you will NEVER forget!
